Established in 2009 and situated in Cyprus, Markets.com forex broker offers forex and CFDs trading solutions in a regulated environment. The broker received several industry awards in the past from London Investor Show, Global Banking and Finance back in 2011-2012, though there haven’t been any awards in the last couple of years. At the moment, the broker doesn't accept US traders.

Trading Conditions

Market’s traders take advantage of leverage up to 200:1.  Spreads on majors start from 1.5 pips. There are about 43 trading pairs and CFDs to choose from.

Trading Platform

MetaTrader (MT4) – well-known, most popular platform in the industry with wide range of charting options, Expert Advisors and technical indicators. The platform requires to be downloaded and installed on your computer.

Markets.com Java Trader – web based platform with high security features. The platform doesn’t need any downloading or installation and can be accessed via any computer with the internet connection, that is.

Mobile Trader – mobile version of the platform with easy access to the market via your mobile devices such as phone, iPads and tablets.

Account Types

During Markets.com review, we have tried out several accounts available with the broker:

Classic – account for beginners with minimum deposit requirement of $100.

Standard – account for experienced traders with minimum deposit of $2,500. There are some useful extra features such as free access to News to Mobile from the broker.

VIP – account with initial deposit of at least $20,000 and has some pampering, premium conditions with FX Signals and welcome bonus.

Payment Methods

Markets.com doesn’t charge fees for deposit or withdrawals requests. The withdrawal request is processed relatively pain-free and, once approved, the money reach your bank account within 5 business days.

Payment methods include Wire Transfer, credit cards and Web Money.  The broker doesn’t accept Paypal, Skrill or Neteller at the moment, which is unfortunate. Most brokers today have included online payment solutions. Traders prefer online payments to bank transfers because it just much easier and faster.

Customer Support

The broker offers professional support with 24 hours a day, 5 days a week response in multiple languages. There are a lot of phone numbers to choose from, depending on the country you live in and various email addresses sorted by departments. There is also live chat for speedy communication.

Markets.com brings its clients education materials, video tutorials, live webinars, seminars and one-on-one training sessions.
